| The Wailua Falls, on the right, may seem familiar to you if you ever watched Fantasy Island! The Opaekaa Falls, on the left, means "Rolling Shrimp" in Hawaiian. Aside from the stunning North Shore... the next closest place to heaven on the island of Kauai is the East Shore. The town of Lihue is the business center of the island where all the hustle and bustle takes |
| place. If your arriving by plane, you'll most likely land at Lihue. But... if you venture inwards a bit... it's lush and green, and rivals the north shore. |
