~ Grand Cayman ~
Our third port was Grand Cayman!  And we were headed off first thing to swim with the Stingrays, at Stingray Alley...  which is about a half hours' boat ride out into the ocean...
"Will stop for squid..." and then suck your hand off!  They were so tame, you could actually pick them up and hold them... which is what Scott is doing in the bottom right picture.  Lure them in with food, and pick them up...
What a blast!!!
Our next stop was Hell!  Ha Ha...  It was a tiny "town" if you want to call it that!  It had roughly three shops, and a post office!  We sent family members postcards, postmarked from hell...  :)  There are two stories on how the town got it's name...  The first story states that back in the 1930's a commisioner from England was out bird hunting.  He shot at a bird amidst the black limestone, but missed, and said the infamous exclamation!  Apparently it stuck...  The other story is a simple one...  it was named after the limestone creation itself, and what most people thought Hell would look like...  you decide...
Our last stop was the Cayman Turtle Farm.  The turtle is the national animal.  They are a mainstay for the Cayman people...  they eat it, and process all the other parts to make furniture, luggage, perfume, and jewelry.
