~ Pool Area ~
The pool to the right is the "Adult's Pool". Thus meaning no children... no children are even allowed into the area. All the interconnected pools seamed to flow from this point. Simply peaceful... a round, Caesar's Palace type pool, with flowing water spouts...
My favorite pool of the resort! Of course it had to be first! This is where we spent most of our daily leisure time... relaxing in the waterfall... literally! The path leads to this wonderful waterfall. The water flows from the pool up one level. The water's roar is loud, but the massage you get from standing under part of the waterfall... it's worth it, and FUN!
There are lounging chairs in the "cave"... and the window in the back allows you to see all the swimmers on the next level up... they even provide you a small bridge to get a better look!!! This pool is where the waterflow is coming from!
The Waterfall ~ Morning Time...
All the pools had tropical flowers hanging over their edges... Bright yellows, vibrant fushia pink, purple and red bouganvillia, and lets not forget the greenery!
Another pool...with a bubbling water fountain in the middle, on the "island". Water volleyball was played in this pool. This is actually the pool you can see, from the little viewing window, down in the lower pool's waterfall...
The rest of the lower pool's area. This is the closest pool to the ocean. Pictured below, is a Mayan styled serpents/fish head waterslide. Meant for children, it didn't stop me... first time I hit rock bottom on my rear end. I decided to try it again, only this time it was my last, since I hurt my knee so bad from the landing, I thought I had broken it...
