~ Other Sights ~
No trip to Orlando would be complete without stopping by their Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum... which was built to look like it had fallen into a sinkhole...
The other building is called WonderWorks...  it's like Downtown Disney, or City Walk.  It has simulator rides for all types of natural disasters, like earthquakes and tornados...
which explains why the building was built upside down...
And, of course, my avid fisherman husband HAD to stop by Bass Pro Shops' "Outdoor World", since we don't have one here is California!!!"  I much obliged... and actually enjoyed it!  There is a huge fish tank inside, with benches for us lady folk to rest while the men play...
Our resort had a wonderful lil' hiking trail... only about a 1/4 mile long.
It was beautiful and perfectly green!
For those of you who are visiting our site, and may not know... we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  This building is the Orlando Florida Temple.  It is not our normal chapel or meetinghouse... we consider it sacred and a House of the Lord.  The world is dotted with 116 Temples... but that number increases often as many more have been planned and are currently under construction...
