Marriott's ~ Village d'lle de France ~
![]() |
We traded in our timeshare week that we have in Kauai, for Paris. We were able to get into a two story, two bedroom, two and a half bath townhouse. Since we had such a large place... we invited my parents to go along with us!
Welcome to the Marriott! You're finally here after eleven months of planning and not-so-patiently waiting!!!

The reception area of the resort
The quaint house along the walkway that we passed everyday to get to our own little slice of French countryside...
Our house was a very cute cream and blue French cottage with lots of greenery and white picket fencing!
Please come in!!! The inside of the townhouse was very spring-like. It was done up in sage and hunter greens, bright and muted yellows, lots more cream and white, and a hint of blue and rose.
Above is the entry foyer & To the left, is the living room...

The Master Bedroom had very bright yellow walls half way up, thank goodness the master bathroom was a bit more subtle!!! It had a wonderful soaking tub which was used often! Mmmmmmm...
Our townhouse also came fully equiped with a full blown kitchen. Oven, stove, dishwasher, washer, and a dryer... Below is the view from our bedroom window and back porch... it overlooked a golf course!
There resort also had an outdoor pool and jaccuzzi, but they were strictly off limits since it was sooo cold.
Not to worry though...
The resort also had an indoor pool and two jaccuzzi's! It was always nice and warm inside...
