Let me start by saying that we didn't need four ports...
because the cruise ship in itself was fantastic!
These pictures hardly do the Superliner justice...
This amazing
Carnival "Funship's" theme is "Heroes and Heroics"...
and it just debuted the middle of December 2004.

The first thing you see is the American Lobby when you enter...
and the elevators
that take you up eleven floors... the last three you have to walk...
There were
four different
pools...
including
a child's pool...
Most of them
had these
interesting bronze
sculptures...
There were also several spas throughout the ship...
Our room was much larger than normal!  We were impressed...
And of course, as with every cruise, dining is a pleasurable must!
We got lucky... We were on the top level of the Lincoln Room.
We were able to see and compare what all the guests were eating...
We wanted to know just how many guests tried the escargot and caviar!
We did! :)
Ken, left, our head waiter,
Assadee, middle, our assistant waiter, and
Frederick, right, our drink waiter...
All were absolutely fabulous!!!  Ken & Assadee were a crack up!  They would dance for us nightly as the dining room magically became a dance club for five minutes...  no wonder they call it a "Fun Ship!"
The Ivanhoe Theater, left, had Las Vegas style shows,
comedians, and hypnotists...

On the right is Illiad's Library...
Rosie's Place was virtually always open...  with a buffet, deli, and oriental cuisine.
Scarlett's was an optional quiet and romantic dining choice in the evening... Reservations were needed, and a fee was charged to dine... but the food was incredible!
The Eagles Lounge had first run movies...
Paris Hot held several different types of "lectures"..  such as where to shop for jewelry!
Back...
King's Boulevard was one of the main arteries of the ship...
It started with Jeanne's Wine Bar, then One Small Step Dance Club, The Caboose (an arcade), Java the coffee house, Togo the sushi bar (which was great!), The Dream Bar, The Shogun Casino, and then it took you straight to the shopping!
The colorful lights on the cieling changed colors and lighting designs.
